A pedal stroke away
And you are at the country-side with beautiful landscapes, nice biking-paths, some cross-country and at the end of things: a lovely tea-garden...

Berlin ist über toll

It doesn't work.. does it? Tip for single and not so single women: Männer schlussverkauf at the Dalli-theater, Häckischer markt. I won a free ticket - so if your interested: just give me a ring...

Kunstgebaüde Tacheles - its a real hatching spot, makes our NDSM look quite stuffy.. Thanks Janic for the tip!

Yeah.. we made the funnies
The opening of Open Source Amsterdam was also covered by RTL-news. DWDD, a very popular evening talkshow, has an item in which they show funny tv-moments. And thanks to the lady with the cap - we made it into their selection. Its in Dutch, sorry if I disappoint you with that...

Child's Play at opening The Bijlmer Spinoza-Festival
Attended the opening of Thomas Hirschhorn's "The Bijlmer Spinoza-Festival" yesterday.
Having seen the construction team at work, and knowing some of the insiders details, it was fantastic to see how the pavillion looks like with people every where, being used for performances and lectures, and how you automatically get a grasp of Spinoza's thoughts, intentions and interpretations.
Thomas and his crew will be working here full-time, non-stop until June 28, 2009. You should really come and visit, participate and enjoy the other art works of Open Source Amsterdam - the art route will open on May 9, 2009 - by HM Queen Beatrix.
Here an impression of yesterday's event. Beautiful weather, a lot of children and adults, and impressive performances by local artists, children and inhabitants.
